For many women, pregnancy is an uncomplicated nine months during which time they eagerly anticipate the birth of their baby; however, for some women, it can be a challenge. This series will focus on four women, from the time their pregnancies were Confirmed through delivery, who face both physical and emotional circumstances which make them high-risk. Susan, in her late thirties, has undergone two unsuccessful in-vitro procedures before becoming pregnant with triplets. Lindsay; a teenager who is prone to reckless behavior involving recreational drugs, alcohol, and smoking, is without support of family or friends. Melissa, in her mid-twenties, has had diabetes for years and must manage the effects her pregnancy has on her disorder. Jan, in her early thirties, is obese and hypertensive. "High Risk OB" programs are SCORM Compliant and have closed captioning.
